On Earth

by Brahm Stuart

I dreamed I was
On top of Olympia,
Where the gods of thunder dwell,
La la la la, la la;
I heard my Earth Mother's call,
She'd wondered where I'd gone,
When back down to Earth I fell.

I dreamed I flew
Up high with the eagles free,
Where the gods of the blue sky dwell,
Dee dee dee dee, dee dee;
I tried to fly
All the way to the Sun,
When back down to Earth I fell.

I dreamed I walked
High up up upon the clouds,
Where the angels of heaven dwell,
Lau lau lau lau, lau lau;
I thought I must
Be better than most,
When back down to Earth I fell.

I dreamed I was
In a forest I've never known,
Where the elves and immortals dwell,
Lo lo lo lo, lo lo;
'Twas then I heard someone say,
"Our forest is on your Earth,
On Earth, on Earth, on Earth."
